Last updated: June 19, 2026

The Intentional Man Inc. ("The Intentional Man," "we," "us," or "our") is a Florida non-profit religious corporation. We care about the men who visit this site. We wrote this policy in plain language so you know exactly what we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

If you have any question about this policy, write to us at info@intentionalman.org.

What this policy covers

This policy covers information collected through our website at intentionalman.org. It does not cover information you share with us in person at a Bible study, by email outside the site, or through our social media accounts. Those interactions are governed by the privacy policies of the platforms they happen on.

What we collect

We collect only what we need to run this ministry. Specifically:

Information you give us directly.

When you fill out a form on this site, we collect your first name, last name, email address, and any message you send us. When you give a donation, our payment processor collects your name, billing address, email, and payment information so the gift can be processed and so we can send you a receipt.

Information collected automatically.

When you visit the site, our website host (Squarespace) collects standard server information such as your IP address, the type of device and browser you are using, the pages you visit, the time of your visit, and the site that referred you. This is the kind of information any website host collects to keep the site working and secure.

Cookies.

Cookies are small text files that websites store on your device. We use cookies that are necessary for the site to function and cookies that help us understand how visitors use the site at a basic level. You can disable cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, though some features may not.

We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, retargeting pixels, or third-party advertising trackers on this site.

What we do with it

We use the information we collect for the following purposes only:

  1. To respond to your messages and welcome you to the ministry.

  2. To send you the weekly lesson if you have asked to receive it.

  3. To process donations, send receipts, and provide annual giving statements.

  4. To keep the site secure and functioning.

  5. To comply with the law and our obligations as a 501(c)(3) non-profit.

We do not sell your information. We do not rent it. We do not trade it. Ever.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers we need to run the ministry. Each of them has their own privacy policy and each is bound to handle your information responsibly. The providers we currently use are:

We may also share information when required by law, by court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of the ministry, our members, or the public.

If The Intentional Man Inc. ever merges with, is acquired by, or transfers its assets to another organization, your information may be transferred as part of that change. If that ever happens, we will notify you on this site before the transfer.

How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires.

Donation records are kept for at least seven years to comply with IRS requirements for non-profits.

Form submissions are kept as long as you remain in contact with the ministry, or until you ask us to delete them.

Email subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.

If you want us to delete your information, write to info@intentionalman.org and we will do so within thirty days, except where the law requires us to retain it (such as donation records for IRS reporting).

How we protect it

We use the security measures provided by Squarespace and Stripe, including encryption of data in transit (https) and at rest. No system is perfect, and we make no guarantee that information transmitted over the internet is completely secure. We do take this seriously.

We will never ask you for sensitive information by email. If you receive an email claiming to be from The Intentional Man and asking for your password, bank details, or social security number, it is not from us. Delete it and let us know at info@intentionalman.org.

Your rights

  • You have the right to:

  • Know what information we have about you.

  • Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.

  • Ask us to delete your information, subject to the legal retention rules above.

  • Opt out of any non-essential communication from us at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, write to info@intentionalman.org.

California residents. If you live in California, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share for cross-context behavioral advertising), and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To exercise these rights, write to info@intentionalman.org.

This site is intended for adult men. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under thirteen years of age. If you believe a child under thirteen has submitted information to us, write to info@intentionalman.org and we will delete it.

This site is operated from the United States and is intended for users in the United States. If you visit from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the site, you agree to that transfer.
